Stacey Riley Baker is a graduate of DePauw University (BA, English, 1991) and Northwestern University (MS Ed., College Administration, 1992). Her years of experience on the other side of the college application give her a powerfully unique background at Riley Baker. Stacey’s first experience working in college admissions was during her time at DePauw, where she served as a student admissions counselor and peer advisor. Since then, Stacey has worked in the evaluation and selection of candidates for admission to both Northwestern University and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Since 1996, Stacey has channeled her tremendous passion and substantial expertise into Riley Baker, helping high school students find the college of their dreams. Member of HECA and IECA. Matthew Baker, who graduated from the University of New Hampshire (BS, Education, 1994; M.Ed, Special Education, 1998), rounds out Riley Baker with a valuable palette of experiences. Eight years combined of teaching (in Westport, CT and Northfield, IL) and college counseling (at the Francis Parker School) help Matthew to remain attuned to the challenges and triumphs Riley Baker students face both at school and while applying to college. Matthew brings an in-depth understanding of the student-athlete recruiting process to the table; a former student athlete in Division I lacrosse himself, he managed recruitment of new athletes in his later role as an assistant coach for the men’s lacrosse team. Member of HECA and IECA. |
